Pathfinder International magazine is delighted to announce a series of three events for the military resettlement community in 2019.

Following on from the successful inaugural Armed Forces & Veterans Resettlement Expo held in November at St James’ Park, Newcastle, the Pathfinder events will now take place in Glasgow, Southampton and Nottingham in 2019.

The first of its kind back in November, the events focus on BOTH military serving personnel looking to leave the forces after career advice AND veterans looking for work and general advice from housing to mental wellbeing.

The inaugural event held at St. James Park in November saw an array of companies and associations showcase a plethora of information for the forces community, complete with a stunning line up of military guest speakers.

Over 30 exhibitors are anticipated at each forthcoming event with over 300 attendees throughout the day.

Pathfinder editor Mal Robinson said: “The initial event we held in November 2018 was a huge success for all concerned, be it service leavers looking for advice on careers, veterans attending to hear about housing matters and job roles available for ex-military to exhibitors who had great engagement with the forces community on the day.

The feedback from all involved was tremendous and this has led to the decision to stage more events of this kind in 2019.”

Robinson added: “Based on the feedback we have opted for Glasgow, Southampton and Nottingham for a variety of reasons, the main one being to spread the Pathfinder footprint in terms of the event offer as far and as wide as possible. Each location lends itself to good access via transport arteries, whilst boasting a large military presence in those regions.

We look forward to working with the three venues and the military community to ensure the next three Pathfinder resettlement expos are as much of a success as the Newcastle event, if not more so.”
