0

Applications for the Veterans’ Foundation’s next Open Grants Programme funding round will close on Monday 30th March 2026, with decisions expected by the end of June.

The programme offers financial support to charities and not-for-profit organisations working with members of the Armed Forces community in the UK, including serving personnel, operationally qualified seafarers and their immediate families.

Grants of up to £75,000 are available across several categories. Small grants of up to £5,000 support grassroots groups delivering community-based activities and must be spent within 12 months. Project grants of up to £30,000 can be awarded for periods of one to three years, while salary grants of up to £75,000 are available for up to three years, capped at £25,000 per year.

Applications for small grants can be submitted throughout the year and are typically decided within around eight weeks. The Veterans’ Foundation has encouraged organisations to apply early to help manage demand and allow for timely review of proposals.

Further information on eligibility and application guidance is available via the Veterans’ Foundation website, with enquiries directed to the charity’s grants team.
