The event takes place at Catterick Leisure Centre from 09:30 until 12:30 and anyone from the forces community is welcome to attend including veterans and spouses.

About the Probation Service
Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), the Probation Service supervises people on probation in the community. Our role is to protect the public, support victims and prevent re-offending wherever possible. We believe everyone deserves a second chance, and we help people on probation make the most of theirs.
What is Community Payback?
Unpaid Work is one of the requirements that can be added to a community sentence, Courts can impose sentences of 40 to 300 hours of Unpaid Work. The delivery of an Unpaid Work requirement is known as Community Payback and is an alternative to a prison sentence for people who have committed a crime. The main purpose is to provide punishment and reparation – with people on probation working on projects that benefit the community for between 6 – 7 hours a day. Unpaid work can provide an opportunity to develop life and vocational skills.
