Armed Forces Expo Colchester – NEBOSH Confirmed As Main Sponsor

The 8th Armed Forces & Veterans Resettlement Expo takes place on Thursday October 27 in Colchester at the Jobserve Community Stadium – home of Colchester United Football Club.

The recent Armed Forces Expo in Catterick.

The event starts at 0930 and finishes at 1230 and ANYONE from the forces community can attend at any time between these hours. Register for the event here!

An array of exhibitors have already signed up offering recruitment opportunities, ELCAS training advice, pensions advice and more.

And now we are delighted to confirm NEBOSH as the official main sponsor for the event.

Pathfinder International editor, Mal Robinson said: “We are thrilled to have an organisation with the high calibre and outstanding reputation of NEBOSH as main sponsor for our expo in Colchester. It is a mark of how highly regarded our events have become in the military community that the likes of NEBOSH are backing the event. Following the recent success of our Catterick expo, we are all looking forward to staging the first resettement expo in Colchester and the surrounding Essex areas.”

NEBOSH on the announcement of being main sponsor added: “NEBOSH is excited to be attending the Armed Forces & Veterans Resettlement Expo.

Aligning with the forces is something we as a charity feel is important – for the many thousands of people who leave the armed forces each year, a vocational qualification can be a helpful first step towards a new career. Lots of NEBOSH learners have come from service backgrounds.

Our qualifications have supported ex-military personnel to enter a health and safety profession. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) use Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) to sponsor Armed Forces personnel to improve their education and, in particular, to support them through resettlement as they move into civilian life. ELC funding can be used to pay for NEBOSH qualifications and approximately 50 NEBOSH Learning Partners are approved to the scheme.”

Other confirmed exhibitors include: Hugh James, Cnet Training, Victory Services Club, Forces Pension Society, Frontier Risks, Oak Tree Training, CTTS, RFEA – The Forces Employment Charity and more!

Register for the event here! ALL from the forces community be they serving personnel just thinking about resettlement, service personnel in resettlement, service personnel wanting to network, veterans looking for advice, spouses wanting to network – you name it – all are welcome!

See you at Colchester!
