The Veterans Awards CIC Team have consulted will all major partners, sponsors and stakeholders and the board have decided to move the English Veterans Awards to the new date of April 21 2021.
Veterans Awards Founder Sean Molino BCA Stated:
“It has been a tough decision as all our team really wanted to celebrate the success and promote the great things happening within our community in England with the awards ceremony in in 2020. We were very thankful that we could hold a socially distanced shortlisted finalists certificate giving day earlier this year and we will continue to promote all the good things our finalists are doing online and through our media and social media partners until the main awards take place. Due to restrictions still in place on large scale events along with the social distancing restrictions and no clear dates on these being relaxed in England and also add to that the upcoming winter flu season we have decided to book a spring date for 2021.
We feel that on this date we can really give the finalists and our partners the event that they all deserve with limited if any restrictions in place! We will always adhere to Government guidelines and ensure our finalists, sponsors and guests have an amazing night celebrating the success from our military community in England, just as they did last year and our guests safety will always come first.”
Pathfinder International editor, Mal Robinson added:
“It is a shame once more we have to move another event when so much planning is put in place by Sean and his team, however just to reiterate Sean’s sentiments, everyone’s safety is paramount and we now look forward to the awards in 2021 in what will be a superb night for the armed forces family.”
The Veterans Awards in England is the last award ceremony to moved from 2020 due to the current Covid 19 pandemic. The new dates for the Veterans Awards ceremonies in support of the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity are :
England (West Midlands) : April 21 2021
Scotland (Edinburgh) : March 10 2021
Wales (Cardiff) : March 3 2021
