Health and Safety Training for the Construction Industry

You don’t have to look walk or drive very far to realize that the construction industry is ‘booming’ and the news that the government is intending to increase the UK housing stock with 1.5 million net additions by the end of 2022, it isn’t surprising that there’s a shortage of construction industry health and safety professionals in the sector.

What training is available to me?
The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction is firmly established in the UK as a leading health and safety qualification for the construction industry. First introduced in 1993 the qualification is held by over 20,000 learners.

Holders of this qualification are able to identify, evaluate and control a wide range of construction workplace hazards. The qualification encourages a pragmatic approach to managing risk and covers the main legal requirements for health and safety in the UK.

For some, the National Construction Certificate can be a crucial first step towards establishing a lifelong professional career in the field of occupational health and safety within their chosen industry.

How long is the course?
The full course takes 10-days and the assessment is an Open Book Exam which can be done at home and learner have 48-hours in which to complete it.

The total cost is £1,650.
