HMS ALBION AND 45 CDO PARTICIPATE IN MAIN EXERCISE OF EXERCISE SPRING STORM 2023

EX SS23 Is a joint defensive exercise and the largest annual military training event in Estonia (EST). EX SS23 will build on the Estonian road map signed by SoS at the Madrid Summit in November 2022.
The purpose of the exercise is to train the Estonian National Military Defence Plan (NMDP) and demonstrate national resiliency. EX SS23 will provide an opportunity for the UK enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup (eFP BG), Littoral Response Group North (LRG NORTH) and Partner Nations to integrate and operate alongside the EST Defence Force (EDF) and EST Defence League (EDL). It is the first opportunity for the newly established EST 2* HQ to operate over Brigade and Battlegroup formations.
