10th Infantry Brigade and Headquarters Wales are holding a transition fair – Living and Working in North Wales – at Glyndwr University Sports Hall, Wrexham on 9th February 2017…
The event is a vital part of the transition for a service leaver into civilian life, to access key information about the services in the area in which they are intending to settle upon their discharge from the services.
There will be a number of service leavers visiting the fair all with different skills and needs. The event is also open to their families and other parties interested in the transition of Service leavers.

Directions: Turn off the A483 at J5 signed Wrexham. Follow the signs for Glyndwr University turning left at the roundabout onto Plas Coch Road and then right at the small roundabout onto the Glyndwr University Campus. Within the university campus, the Transition Fair will be held in the Sports Hall, which upon entering the main campus, is about 200m on the left with the curved roof and green and blue supports.
Travel by Rail: The nearest railway stations are Wrexham General (5 mins walk) and Wrexham Central (10 mins walk).
The event will run from 12:00 – 14:00, entrance is free, and all Service Leavers, Veterans and families are welcome.
Over 60 exhibitors will be in attendance, from sectors such as local government, business and commerce and charity/voluntary. Topics covered will include employment, education, welfare, housing, and health.
