Thinking of service personnel away at this time of year and if you are reading this then I hope you have the best Christmas you can away from home or on duty and hope you all have a good Christmas on your return from duties no doubt, Sam Rosenthal, Basingstoke.

Thank you for keeping mine and family’s Christmas safe with the selfless jobs you do in our forces, stay safe and stay strong and Merry Xmas and a Happy New year to you all, Barry Kean.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish our service personnel and veterans the very best of health. Your service to our country is very much appreciated and I will be raising a beer or three in your name this festive season. Stay safe and well and enjoy your time off on return from your duties either overseas or protecting us on home shores. Simon Groody, Doha, Qatar.

Merry Christmas to all our Troops who can’t be with their families this Christmas. Thinking of you all and stay safe. John, Ian, Kelly & Rachel (The North East Military Ball).

Having been fortunate to work on Pathfinder’s “I am Tommy Atkins!” campaign for Remembrance awareness, I have seen first hand what it means to serve your country from various encounters with veterans for the project.

I have no doubt the Tommy Atkins spirit remains true with our current crop of service personnel performing their duties to the highest standards as ever. This festive period (in addition to the whole year round), I doff my cap to you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Many thanks for your service. Kind regards, Joe Kemetmuller, Tall Image Ltd.

God Bless you all and stay safe. Merry Christmas, Audrey Palmer, Sunderland.

Thank you for your service. Stay safe and who knows Santa may still come down your chimney. Have a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year , Sam Neill xx

Merry Christmas to you all from a Civvy who knows that real heroes are not sports people, but you legends. There’s a lot of us who really appreciate all you do so carry on and have a great Christmas. Julian Raithby in Somerset.

All the best to the best troops of the best Armed Forces in the world! Lots of love, Anita & Tom Shickle.

Keep your chin up people, thank you for keeping us all safe! All the best, Michael Britton, Southgate, London.

Big shout out to all the RAF Movers out on Det over the festive season. All the best from back home, Cpl R Deaton, RAF Brize Norton.

To all those deployed we are so proud of you all and so thankful for the sacrifices you make for us back home. Will be thinking of you all over the festive period and of your families. Stay safe, Mandy Small.

Stay safe, we will all be thinking of you on Christmas Day, Jamie Small.

It goes without saying that I wish all of our armed forces a happy and safe Christmas first and foremost.

Having served myself in the RAF and having been on operations in Afghanistan over the festive period, I know how hard this time of year can be for service personnel on duty and away from their loved ones.

No doubt, the incredible camaraderie and spirit shared in your unit at this time will most certainly assist you through this period, but still it is always nice to receive support from back home.

You are all doing a sterling job to the best of your abilities and making the UK proud of our military.

All the best over Christmas and I wish you a healthy and Happy New Year looking ahead to 2020.

Kind regards,

Mal Robinson, Editor, Pathfinder International magazine.
