Stephen jokes about subjects away from his working life, such as dancing in nightclubs – where his height makes him feel like “a teacher at a school disco” – and his attitude to exercise: “I’ve worked out with ex-forces gentlemen and they are tough, they don’t take any prisoners…now exercise is a part of my life and I’m quite surprised…”
