The first ever Services Awards took place at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland on Wednesday June 28.
The 2023 Services Awards
The awards ceremony was a coming together of armed, emergency and volunteer services for the first time, with all branches celebrated.
The evening hosted by BBC’s Jeff Brown featured 8 categories in total and the winners are detailed below.
Pathfinder was official media partner for the event and editor, Mal Robinson was on hand to present an award.
Robinson said: “it was an overwhelming evening to hear stories across the board from veterans of the forces, to serving personnel to St John Ambulance to HM Coastguard, the emergency services, the lot! It is clear to see there is a huge bond between all sections of our nation’s services and we can be rightly proud of them as a country. Well done to all of the nominees and winners.”
