The Remembrance Penny To Launch On 75th Anniversary Of VE Day

The Remembrance Penny, ‘Forged with Pride’: is an exquisite set to commemorate and honour our fallen servicemen and women and is already seeing support from the man who stole the nation’s hearts, Captain (Honorary Colonel) Tom Moore. The Remembrance Penny were immensely proud to present to the World War Two veteran a bespoke, personalised Remembrance Penny, Bronze Poppy and Bronze Seedpod, displayed in an illuminated cabinet in his home at the end of April.

The Remembrance Penny will launch on Friday 8th May to coincide with VE75 celebrations and currently, the collection, handcrafted and made in Britain, consists of The Remembrance Penny, The Bronze Memorial Seedpod and The Bronze Poppy, which holds the collection together by perfectly housing the penny and seedpod – a symbol of our national heritage.

The items can be purchased on www.theremembrancepenny.com to honour any fallen servicemen and women and The Remembrance Penny is incredibly proud to be supporting our charity partner ,Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.

Robert Marsh, Director of Fundraising at Combat Stress, said:
“We are honoured that the team behind The Remembrance Penny has chosen to support Combat Stress and the veterans we treat for complex mental health problems.

“Forged with Pride is a beautiful tribute to those who have given their lives in service to our nation, but we must also remember those who return from conflict carrying the trauma of battle.

“The money raised from the sale of The Remembrance Penny and Poppy will help us to continue delivering our life-changing specialist services to veterans across the UK so they can tackle the past and take on the future.”
