BFBS Radio’s Forces Breakfast Show is set to have a new double act at the helm…
From Monday 12th September, Richard Hatch will be joined by co-host, Verity Geere, for the 6.30-10am (UK) slot on DAB in the UK, online and on the BFBS app.
To help shape their on-air partnership, the pair of presenters have taken inspiration from a few famous duos.
“We’ve been looking at some twosomes that just seem to get it right…ike Batman & Robin…Ant & Dec, and errm, The Krankies,” said Verity. “We may have dressed up as a few too…purely to help us ‘channel’ inspiration from the best in the business!”
Verity is no stranger to mornings as her extensive broadcasting career includes five years as co-host of the Breakfast Show on Magic 105.4FM.
Richard said: “I can’t wait to share the studio with Verity – not only is she smarter than a badger in a three-piece suit, she’s also great fun! The Forces Breakfast Show with Hatch & Geere will be waking up listeners with chat, tunes, and stories from the military community, all helping to kick start the day.”

The Forces Breakfast Show with Hatch & Geere will launch in the same week as part of a new season on BFBS Radio, which includes The BIG Friday Show with Jay and Hal – on air at 4pm (UK) on Friday 16th September.
