Today marks 100 years of the Armistice commemorations, the first ceremony being held in 1919.
To mark the occasion, Pathfinder International have released the first of our in depth interviews with veterans from every conflict since World War 1, highlighting that the spirit of “Tommy Atkins” remains alive to this day.
In the first of the videos, Falklands veteran, Simon Weston talks to Pathfinder editor, Mal Robinson, on his time in the forces, the conflict and what the ethos of “Tommy Atkins” means to him.
Subscribe to the Pathfinder YouTube! channel to see more of the in depth interviews, published once a month throughout this centenary year. Coming in December – Steve Heaney MC talks about the Sierra Leone campaign.
