The Award for Ex-Forces Independent Business Start-up of the Year

We continue our look at each category in depth for the BSI Resettlement Awards 2017.

This award is for the Service Leaver (an individual, not an organisation) who has excelled in launching a business.

In assessing award entries for Best Independent Start-up of the Year the judges will base their decision on the following criteria:

Time and effort invested into research of business opportunity prior to signing up to launching the business with particular reference to the research of the chosen marketplace.

Planning involved in preparation to launch the business and achievement of establishing the business in the early stages of operation.

Ability to overcome unforeseen challenges.

The success of the business in achieving and exceeding initial targets and objectives.

Future plans for developing the business.

The deadline for submitting an entry to be considered for an award is 5pm on Friday September 1st 2017.
