The new Broadmoor hospital opened in 2019, it is a state-ofthe-art High security mental health hospital which is fit for the 21st century.
The new hospital has been designed and built to provide a safe, therapeutic environment for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients who need high-secure psychiatric care.

No experience? No problem. You do not need any previous experience to join the Security Operational Services team at Broadmoor hospital as a member of our Entrance Building Support staff. It is more important that you are a respectful team player, and committed to delivering a comprehensive and efficient service that helps and supports our patients, their families and our colleagues.
The role of Entrance Building Support Staff includes working in the hospital’s Reception undertaking screening of social / official visitor, contractors, staff and vehicles on entry to the hospital, and that they are authorised to enter the secure perimeter. Undertake Control Room duties, monitoring perimeter detection & CCTV systems plus carrying out site security patrols and the supervision of social visits are all
essential parts of this role.

The Entrance Building Support Staff role requires shift work (early shifts, late shifts, shop days, nights, weekends including bank holidays including Christmas day) so ability to work
these shifts on a rota basis is essential.
Another aspect of the role is that all candidates are required to undertake Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression(PMVA) training, so a reasonable level of fitness is
required.
£21,730 – £ 23,177 – Plus HCAS / year, Full – Time
