Lucid is a specialist independent training provider offering a range of courses in planning, installation and testing of fibre optics and copper cabling for telecoms, datacoms, voice, CCTV and CATV systems.
Most courses have a significant hands-on element, so are held as short full-time courses with numbers limited to 6 delegates per trainer. Longer courses can be split into several 1-week modules, and all training courses include lifetime technical support.
Level 3 courses eligible for ELC funding include:
Fibre Optics Installation & Testing (incorporating the popular City & Guilds 3666 course), Advanced OTDR Testing, Advanced PMD Testing, Copper Telephone Cable Jointing & Testing, and the new City & Guilds 3663 Design & Planning of Communications Cabling.
Lucid holds the following approvals: City & Guilds Centre, Open College Network Centre, and FIA Approved Training Provider.
Open courses: residential courses in Cumbria, Lancashire, North Yorks, West Yorks Courses arranged in rest of UK and worldwide on demand.
