The University of Law provides courses for students to undertake a first law degree and for graduates to qualify as a solicitor or barrister. These include the LLB Law course plus Graduate Diploma in law which converts non-law graduates to the same stage on the route to qualification as a law graduate; The Legal Practice Course which is required to qualify as a solicitor; and the Bar Professional Training Course which is required to qualify as a barrister. The University of Law has centres throughout the UK (Birmingham, Bristol, Chester, Guildford, London, Manchester and York) and offers the courses in a variety of different modes of study (Full Time; Part Time Day, Evening or Weekend; and Distance Learning).
