Cornwall Marine Network Ltd (CMN) is a registered training and apprenticeship training provider, established in 2002. The team delivers a range of training and apprenticeships from entry level to level 5 (including English and Maths Functional Skills). CMN's unique selling point is that as an independent training provider, it works to provide training and skills that meet the needs of employers and often does so within the employers' workplace.
Training is delivered either face to face, online, a blended approach or self-paced depending on the requirements of the course and the preference of the individual.
CMN was Initially set up to support marine businesses in Cornwall to increase productivity and profitability through innovation, marketing and skills support. Since then, the services have been expanded to support non-marine businesses and individuals based both in Cornwall and across the UK, through its trading name CMN Training and Skills.
CMN also has a Subsidiary company called Cornwall Marine Academy CIC. This is a Community Interest Company that works with young people aged 9-24 to increase their awareness of careers and supporting their employability skills.
