With our ongoing growth, we’re looking for experienced engineers with some background and familiarity in any of the following areas: electrical and mechanical inspection/maintenance of heavy industrial equipment (eg boilers, electrical distribution equipment, turbines, generators etc) looking to join our team as a Consultant Risk Engineer.
Working independently from either your home (within one-hour commute of Windsor) and our Windsor/Maidenhead Office, you’ll help managers of the world’s best-known companies make informed decisions about the threat of fire, structural problems, process, equipment, natural hazards and more. It’s about dealing with real people in real situations – and quickly seeing the impact of your professional advice. You could be evaluating a fire exposure at any type of manufacturing, power, chemical process or pharmaceutical plant and the consequences of such an event on the supply chain, or a sprinkler system in a warehouse that will protect it from fire and the potential disruption that would result. You may also be providing guidance on planned maintenance, equipment, safety and control devices, or new builds and site modifications.
We’ll support you all the way, both to deliver exceptional service to our clients and with our long-term career opportunities. You’ll start with a structured training programme including self-study, e-based assessment and mentoring. Then, in your first twelve months, you’ll undertake three practical courses at our training facilities in the US.
