An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Security to manage the Security department at Harrow School. The post-holder will have responsibility for ensuring the safety of Harrow School pupils, staff and property.
The successful candidate will have previously worked as a head or deputy head of security in a school or college environment and will have extensive experience of implementing crime prevention initiatives and dealing with difficult situations under pressure. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with colleagues and external contacts at all levels. They should also be able to formulate ideas and solutions and to present them effectively.
A health and safety NEBOSH/Fire Certificate and professional membership of the Security Institute is desirable. A clean driving licence is essential.
