As the summer draws to a close, September is set to be a busy month for the Not Forgotten Association…
With a kayaking trip to Norway, scaling a mountain in Morocco, a week of relaxation in Majorca and a visit to the Dunkirk Little Ships, the NFA will be supporting over 70 beneficiaries from 15 service organisations.
Both the Norwegian fjords and Mount Toubkal in Morocco are new ventures for the Association and they will offer beneficiaries the chance to push themselves, regain confidence and, no doubt, make some fantastic new friends.
The slightly more sedate, but equally as restorative, trip to Majorca has time and time again demonstrated the therapeutic effects of taking a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The NFA have offered a big thank you to charity partners, Help For Heroes, who have kindly funded both the Norway and Morocco excursions, and to Libor and for funding the farmhouse holiday in Majorca.
NFA Chief Executive, James Stopford, stated: “The most effective way to reach those in need is for military charities to work together collegiately. We are therefore immensely proud to work with organisations like Help For Heroes to provide exciting and beneficial experiences for our mutual beneficiaries.”
