Blind Veteran Secures Medal For Team GB

Steve had heard of Blind Veterans UK but was initially reticent about contacting them. He says: “I wasn’t sure about it at first, I’m not a charity case and I didn’t want people looking after me. But, after hearing more I thought I’d give it a go as I didn’t have anything to lose. It was one of the best things I ever did. They helped me get back to having a normal life.”
