Chief Of The General Staff Attends Army Foundation College Harrogate Graduation Parade

The Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders, KCB, CBE, DSO, ADC Gen, inspects the front rank during the graduation parade at Army Foundation College Harrogate on 11 Aug 22.

The Army Foundation College (AFC) in Harrogate, North Yorkshire held a graduation parade to celebrate around 600 Junior Soldiers (JS) completing Initial Training. The Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders, KCB, CBE, DSO, ADC Gen, was the Senior Inspecting Officer on the day.

The JS will now move on from AFC to their respective Trade Training establishments. Two AFC graduation parades are held every year, and these represent the largest of their kind in Europe.
