Delta Capita are proud to announce they have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award.
This award recognises Delta Capita’s enduring commitment to supporting veterans and promoting awareness of the armed forces within the company. It also recognises the business’s commitment to upholding the terms of the Armed Forces Covenant and delivering tangible support to the Armed Forces community.
Delta Capita continues to grow the number of veterans it employs in its consultancy function. It will host another annual career insight day this year in October. These have been well received by the veteran’s community allowing service leavers the opportunity to understand the Financial Services industry, receive advice on CV writing and interview techniques and apply for a role within Delta Capita Consulting.
As part of Delta Capita’s enduring commitment to the Armed Forces the DC Military Network group is now preparing the business to apply for the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award and we are aiming to achieve this by the third quarter of 2023.
Pete Mayberry, Global COO, Consulting and former Royal Navy Submariner, said ‘I’m proud DC has achieved this award in recognition of the work everyone has put into making Delta Capita a Pro-Armed Forces organisation. It is great to see the business recognise the value that veterans bring to the company in terms of skills and leadership’.
Consultant and Former Warrant Officer Ian Tosh said ‘ I recently started at Delta Capita after spending 23 years in the Army, I was recruited through the Delta Capita Consulting Career Change Programme. The support within the military network has been fantastic and made starting the new role really easy. I’m looking forward to starting with a client this week. ‘
