Forces Community Artists Paint Images For Ukraine

Two artists from the forces community have produced paintings depicting the war in Ukraine as both a mark of respect and to raise funds for the humanitarian crisis happening there since the invasion of Russia in February.

Veteran Kevin Wills and Poppy Artist Jacqueline Hurley have each produced separate images seen below.

Kevin said: “my latest piece is called ‘we left our dad in Kyiv’ and it was just me trying to highlight the situation over there and the plight of the refugees”.

Jacqueline’s piece is entitled “With the rising of the sun, there is hope” and she hopes sales from the piece can help raise funds for Ukraine.

Both artists have appeared on the front covers of Pathfinder and sister supplement magazine, Left Right Left previously, with Kevin painting the front cover of Pathfinder’s Special Platinum Jubilee Edition coming out in May.
