Amy Rawcliffe is the founder and director of Click Marketing, one of the UK’s fastest growing digital marketing agencies supporting UK and international brands. Her journey from military service to business leadership is a story of resilience, leadership, and community-driven success.

In 2011, Amy joined the Royal Navy, serving on warships and abroad in the Middle East and Cyprus. “The Navy taught me discipline, teamwork, and adaptability. You quickly learn to solve problems with limited resources, a mindset that’s been invaluable in my business,” she reflects.

Promoted to Petty Officer within six years, Amy balanced military duties with a BA (Hons) in Intelligence & International Relations. “My time in the Navy shaped my leadership style. I learned to lead by example, which I now apply in managing my team at Click Marketing.”

In 2019, after nine years of service, Amy left the Navy to pursue her passion for business. Drawing from her military values and family ties to entrepreneurship, she launched Click Marketing as a social media management agency. “I saw the potential in digital marketing early on, especially how businesses could leverage social media to build brands and reach customers.”

In early 2020, Amy attended the Enterprise & Self-Employment training by X-Forces Enterprise (XFE), through the Ministry of Defence’s Career Transition Partnership (CTP). “The XFE training was the start of my entrepreneurial journey. It gave me the tools to transition from the military to business and introduced me to a supportive network of like-minded individuals.”

That same year, as COVID-19 reshaped the business landscape, Click Marketing was poised to meet the surge in demand for digital services. “The pandemic forced businesses to adapt quickly, and my team and I were ready to help our clients thrive in a digital-first world,” Amy says. “Since then, we’ve become one of the fastest-growing agencies in the UK.”

Today, Click Marketing boasts a team of 21 experts and continues to grow as a leader in digital marketing. But beyond her business success, Amy is committed to supporting the military community. She regularly shares her knowledge through XFE’s Business Masterclass workshops, which attract consistently high attendance, and proudly serves as a Military In Business® Ambassador, hosting networking events and championing the Armed Forces community in business.

Through XFE, Amy has built strong relationships with fellow veterans, helping them optimise their marketing strategies and unlock new opportunities. “XFE has created a supportive community of entrepreneurs – these relationships built on the shared experience of service are powerful and often open doors to invaluable opportunities and professional growth,” Amy explains.

From the disciplined environment of the Royal Navy to the dynamic world of digital marketing, Amy’s journey highlights the power of perseverance, leadership, and the strength of the Armed Forces community. Looking ahead, Amy is excited to continue growing Click Marketing and helping others in the military and veteran communities build successful businesses.
