Blind Veterans UK, who support ex-servicemen and women who have lost their sight, are challenging people to walk 10 miles on 30th March and raise funds to support their work…

This scenic 10 mile route will explore the magnificent grounds of the National Memorial Arboretum which features over 300 thought-provoking memorials.

Paul Lawless, Head of Community Engagement at Blind Veterans UK, says: “Whether you see the walk as a personal challenge or prefer for the family to all join in too, it’s a great opportunity to get outdoors and do something with the rest of the community while raising money for charity.”

Blind Veterans UK provides blind and vision-impaired veterans with the free services and lifelong support they need to lead full and independent lives.

To support and sign up for the challenge, you can find more information at blindveterans.org.uk/marchforveterans. A range of walks have been arranged nationally – visit the website for more details.
