Host Your Own Armed Forces Day Event

With less than five months to go until Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29th June, now is the time to apply for funding if you would like to host your own event to support the UK Armed Forces community…

Hundreds of events took place across the UK last year from street parties, to village fêtes and themed picnics to community BBQs. If you would like to host an event but are in need of some inspiration, take a look at some ideas here.

You can apply for up to £10,000 in funding to help with organisational expenses. To find out if your event is eligible for funding, please register before the deadline on 1st March.

The national Armed Forces Day 2019 event will be held in Salisbury, a city steeped in military history. The event, which will be the eleventh Armed Forces Day, will be hosted by Wiltshire County Council with support from the Ministry of Defence.
