RAFO announces two job opportunities for UK citizens to work for the Band of the Royal Air Force of Oman for the following positions. Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Chief Instructor
- Qualified Band Master (LRSM or equivalent)
- Current or former musician of a British Military Band
- Ability to design and implement training programmes for the overall development of the band
- Working knowledge of all band instruments
- Proficiency in music theory instruction
- Competent keyboard skills
- Working knowledge of band arranging and composition skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage musicians of different abilities.
