Civil Ceremonies provides a range of specialised training courses to enable the creation and delivery of a range of life-stage ceremonies.
The Funeral Celebrancy training course (NOCN Level 3) is for those who wish to become funeral celebrants, creating and leading personal funeral ceremonies.
Delegates will acquire a high level of skill and knowledge regarding funeral content, the funeral 'industry', what constitutes a good funeral, how to sensitively interview bereaved families to obtain appropriate information about the person who has died and effectively translate this into a well written, accurate funeral ceremony script, then deliver the funeral ceremony with confidence and sensitivity.
Pre-requisites include the ability to write effectively and grammatically, a good public speaking voice, smart appearance, sensitive interviewing skills, a mature, calm, reassuring manner and a genuine interest in providing a quality service
The Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming and Couples, is also a Level 3 national qualification, covering wedding and civil partnership celebration ceremonies, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies and naming ceremonies to welcome a new child.
