Glasgow University is a research led institution engaged in teaching undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students. The University is organised on a faculty basis, the faculties being Arts; Biomedical and Life Sciences; Education; Engineering; Information and Mathematical Sciences; Law, Business and Social Sciences; Medicine (including Dentistry and Nursing and Health Care); Physical Sciences; and Veterinary Medicine. The University has campus sites in Glasgow and Dumfries, and also engages in distance learning education. Glasgow School of Art and the Scottish Agricultural College are associated institutions of the University. The University offers certificate, diploma and degree qualifications at SCQF levels 7 to 12.
