UHI Inverness is a partner in the Colleges and Research Institutes which form the University of the Highlands and Islands, delivering FE/HE/Degree level courses and research opportunities throughout Scotland and beyond. Currently over 6,500 students per year learn on the wide-ranging programmes provided. Qualifications are available in a variety of flexible learning modes to meet the student's requirements. Various awarding bodies, including Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA), certify the wide range of courses that are offered. VQ3/4, HNC/D and degrees are available in ten different curriculum areas which includes, but are not limited to, management and business, construction, engineering, science and social sciences
In addition, we offer specialist courses in Health and Safety (NEBOSH General Certificate and Diploma), CIPD, Gas installation for employees involved in the installation and maintenance of gas appliances, City and Guilds electrical courses including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and a range of domestic renewable installation courses.
