Joint Force Alba

Joint Force Alba

Joint Force Alba – your Scottish ex-military recruitment company.

Joint Force Alba was set up by British Army Veteran and HR & Recruitment expert Emma Davies in 2019. She saw that support for ex-military looking to settle in Scotland was not as extensive as for southern England. The idea for the business came from watching Veterans, struggle to find work matching their Armed Forces experience. The Joint Force Alba team saw that Scottish organisations were missing out on loads of transferable skills from Armed Forces Veterans, particularly in skills-shortage areas.

Since then, Joint Force Alba has worked with organisations across the private and charitable sectors in Scotland to encourage the recruitment of Veterans. Examples include renewable and fossil fuel energy, construction, IT and waste management as well as natural heritage, dementia and children’s education charities.

Joint Force Alba has placed ex-Armed Forces into diverse roles like recycling operatives, fitters, cyber security and facilities management roles. They are now a Silver ERS award winner too.

Some of our recent testimonials explain how Joint Force Alba were “effective, sensitive, insightful and, as importantly, an absolute pleasure to work with” Also, that our service was “Informative, helpful and made the process as smooth as possible.”
