The NEBOSH National General Certificate is a qualification designed to help those with health and safety responsibilities to discharge more effectively their organisational duties and functions. This can be the first step for those individuals wishing to develop their skills and knowledge in health and safety. The NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Safety and Health provides a qualification for those with an interest in or having responsibility for health, safety and welfare in construction work.
Courses consist of 2 or 3 blocks of five days study and a final revision day. Assessment consists of two written examination papers and a practical assessment all of which are two hours duration. The course delivery is based on a learner centred approach and is highly participative. Delegates are required to be totally committed and will also undertake private study in order to prepare fully for the examinations. Distance learning is also available on these courses.
