Contact: Miss Madeleine Ridout

St Stephen's House is a theological college in Oxford. Its core business is the formation and training of ordinands in the Church of England, however, it also welcomes other students of Theology. It is validated as a Theological Education Institute in the Church of England, offering their standardised 'Common Awards' courses in Theology, Ministry and Mission, ranging in level from Certificates of Higher Education through to Master of Arts in Theology. These qualifications are validated by the University of Durham. St Stephen's House also maintains a unique relationship with the University of Oxford, and is able to matriculate a set number of students to their faculty of Theology and Religion for postgraduate research and taught degrees.
St Stephen's House also operates The Edward King Centre, which is designed to synch teaching on site within the college to a remote learning platform, allowing students around the world to study theology with us. The Edward King Centre offers the same range of Common Awards qualifications, which can be undertaken both full-time or part-time.
St Stephen's House also operates the Insitute of Sacred Music Oxford, which offers postgraduate qualifications in Worship and Liturgical studies, which are validated by the University of Durham.
