Richmond’s Summer Garden Supports Disabled Veterans

Richmond residents are invited to Trumpeters’ House on Saturday 2nd June, 2pm to 5pm, in support of The Poppy Factory – the country’s leading employment charity for veterans with disabilities…

The charity, based in Richmond, supports veterans with mental and physical health conditions get back into work.

The Poppy Factory’s Chief Executive, Deirdre Mills said: “We are delighted to be hosting our garden party in the enchanting grounds of Trumpeter’s House.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the gardens with friends and family and we expect to see many people from the local community there. We would like to thank everyone in advance for supporting The Poppy Factory’s vital work.”

Visitors will enjoy a summer afternoon in beautiful surroundings. There will be traditional lawn games as well as a brand-new children’s fairy door hunt. Music will be provided by the Richmond Brass Band.

The Poppy Factory is grateful to Baroness Van Dedem for kindly permitting them to hold the garden party at her home.

Adult tickets are £6 and under 16s are free. All proceeds will go to The Poppy Factory. To book tickets or find out more click here.
