The Taxi Charity Heads for Normandy

In June, The Taxi Charity will be travelling to Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-Day. They are hoping to take 13 Normandy veterans and their carers to attend services of commemorations and unite in remembering those who didn’t return.

As a charity that is wholly funded by grants, sponsorship and donations the Taxi Charity is under no illusion that there is still a lot of money to raise for this trip.

Susy Goodwin, one of their volunteers, has designed a limited edition commemorative D-Day 80 badge and a windscreen sticker to help raise funds.
