The Vitality London 10K takes place this Bank Holiday Monday and SSAFA wants to say thank you to the 112 runners who are set to pound the pavements in aid of the Armed Forces community…
The weather is set to be a sweltering 25oC, bringing an additional challenge to the event.
56 of those running are currently serving in the military:
• Executive Officer – Honourable Artillery Company
• Adjutant of London District
• 22 Coldstream Guards
• 10 Scots Guards
• 2 Royal Army Physical Training Corps
• 7 Royal Logistic Corps
• 6 Household Cavalry
• 1 Royal Air Force
Reservists:
• 4 Royal Engineers (221 (Fd) Sqn)
• 1 Military Intelligence
Their efforts mean that SSAFA can continue to provide lifelong support to the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in times of need. Whether it’s practical, emotional or financial support – SSAFA is there to serve the Armed Forces family every step of the way.
