The 8th Armed Forces & Veterans Resettlement Expo takes place on Thursday October 27 in Colchester at the Jobserve Community Stadium.
The event is sponsored by NEBOSH and anyone from the forces community can attend from 09:30 to 12:30.
See here for more information and how to register.
Why Should Veterans Attend The Expo In Colchester?
The idea of a resettlement event to some might be the fact those only going through resettlement can attend…WRONG!
ANYONE from the forces community can attend including serving personnel wanting ELCAS training advice, military spouses wanting recruitment opportunities and veterans looking for a range of advice and guidance on offer.
We have found previously that Veterans or Ex-Military personnel have left the forces but not fully resettled job wise and are looking for something else…COME ALONG and speak to a range of recruiters there on the day who are wanting to fill their roles with veterans as well as personnel leaving the forces.
ELCAS training providers will also be present, so COME ALONG and chat to them as you can use your ELCAS credits FIVE years after leaving the forces.
Veterans Charities will be attending including the Forces Pension Society, armed with a range of advice on your forces pension, Military Veterans Football Club, Terraces and Troops, Support our Paras and the Forces Employment Charity will also be on hand.
In addition to this, Hugh James will be in attendance to offer advice on any legal claims or financial investments you may wish to make in the future.
So come along and grab a cuppa and see what’s what on the forces scene.
Just because you have left, does not been you can’t come!
Register here for the event OR come along on the day.
