The Soldiers Pass Run is taking place on Saturday 12th October 2019 in Didcot, raising money for Felix Fund, which supports bomb disposal and search personnel and their families…
The challenge, taking place next October, is designed for service personnel and civilians alike, with a variety of distances and abilities. Participants have the choice of 5K, 10K, 21K and 42K routes which all start and finish in Didcot – with the added option of a 100k route that takes runners as far as Reading.
As well as the run itself, families and non-runners are invited to take part in a fun day at Vauxhall Barracks for a chance to enjoy refreshments and meet serving military personnel. The event is a true physical and mental challenge for people of all ages and is in aid of the Felix Fund.
Captain James Wadsworth CGC, founder of The Soldiers Pass Run, said: “I’m extremely proud of all the hard work and effort that has gone into making this challenge possible, and look forward to raising money for a fantastic cause. There are some great routes that are equal parts inclusive and challenging, so it’s shaping up to be a really great day out.
