Throughout November and December 2018 groups supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families entered the vote in a round dedicated to supporting the armed forces in Salisbury…

Bags of Help, which is run in partnership with community charity Groundwork and greenspace Scotland, sees funding awarded to thousands of local community projects every year. Since launching in 2015, it’s provided more than £67 million to over 21,000 local community projects across Britain.

I am delighted that we have been able to hold this special Bags of Help funding round to give a boost to charities and organisations serving towns which support our armed forces.”

Groundwork’s National Chief Executive, Graham Duxbury, said: “We look forward to seeing these projects, in which local groups address the needs of serving personnel and veterans, come to life and support the wider community.”
