In its latest survey of Army families, The Army Families Federation (AFF) wants to know how best to communicate with those it supports…

From 18th February to 8th March, families have the chance to give their views on how they most like to receive news and updates on issues that affect them. With Army command and MOD developing policies that affect all Army families, such as those around future housing and flexible working, AFF’s survey also asks about communication with the Army and MOD too.

Families have a chance to give their preferences and ensure they’re receiving important information in the most suitable way for them.

AFF Chief Executive Sara Baade said: “Communication with Army families is absolutely vital and AFF does this in a variety of ways. As well as our online communication via our website and social media pages, we’re out in the community meeting families face-to-face. We want to find out how families prefer to speak to us, are we getting it right and are we sharing the right things? I encourage families to be honest with us and have their say.”

AFF regularly updates families via its website, as well as its popular social media pages. They also have a number of local AFF Co-ordinators who meet with families at events such as local coffee mornings.
