World War 2 veteran and recent COVID hero, Sir Captain Tom Moore has died at the age of 100.

Sir Tom won the hearts of the nation by completing 100 laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS and associated charities. In all he raised over £32M in his fundraising efforts – a remarkable feat which earned him a Knighthood and was presented to him by the Queen at Windsor Castle in the summer.

A spokesperson for HRH Her Majesty the Queen stated:

“Her Majesty very much enjoyed meeting Cpt Sir Tom and his family at Windsor last year.

“Her thoughts, and those of the Royal Family, are with them, recognising the inspiration he provided for the whole nation and others across the world.”

Everyone at Pathfinder International would like to share our love and words of support to Sir Tom’s family at this sad time.

He will forever be remembered by us all and he was his jovial self when interviewed for the magazine last year.
