The Royal British Legion’s annual Festival of Remembrance, presented by Huw Edwards, takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 10 November 2018, the day before Remembrance Sunday, and commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts…

100 years ago the First World War ended, and a new world began. The example and experience of those who lived through it shaped the world we live in today. At the Festival of Remembrance this year, in the presence of The Royal Family, The Royal British Legion is leading the nation in saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

The afternoon performance commences at 2pm and is scheduled to finish by 3.45pm. Doors open at 12.30pm and we request that everyone is seated by 1.30pm at the latest to assist with security and stewarding.

The evening performance commences at 7pm and is scheduled to finish by 8.45pm. Doors open at 5pm and we request that everyone is seated by 6.30pm at the latest to assist with security and stewarding.

Recent changes in Data Protection laws and increased security measures have meant a review of the process for obtaining tickets to attend the Festival of Remembrance was necessary. This is timely, because it has given us an opportunity to act on feedback from the Membership by changing to a fairer and more straightforward system of obtaining tickets.

Under the new system, Members of the Royal British Legion can buy tickets on a first-come, first served basis, limited to two per member, at festivalofremembrance.seetickets.com or by phone 020 7087 7929. Any unsold tickets will go on sale to the general public at the beginning of October. Details will be released on the Royal British Legion website at that time.
