A new range of greetings cards aimed at the Armed Forces community has been launched and to help celebrate the event, they have teamed up with Pathfinder International to offer a 10% discount to our readers and website visitors on orders placed for Father’s Day on June 21.
UK Military Cards was launched only weeks ago, yet they have been busy of late, with many card shops closed due to the current COVID19 lockdown restrictions. The brand was set up by Liam Grieves, a former reservist, now graphic designer with donations from every sale of a card going towards, Wearside based community interest company – Veterans In Crisis Sunderland.
Liam said, “I had been asked many times by military mates why there wasn’t any specific greetings cards aimed at them and so here we are. Being from the north east, it made sense for me to donate to a local cause too. Its a work in progress and more and more designs will be released as we go along, so be sure to keep an eye out for them.”
Ger Fowler, the founder of Veterans in Crisis Sunderland added, ““the cards look great and are a bit of fun and identity for people on special occasions. I’m delighted they have chosen VICS for fundraising this time around.”
