HMS Trent In The Gulf Of Guinea

Today Royal Marines from 42 Commando and Sailors on board HMS Trent conducted Partner Force Development with Nigerian Forces. Nigerian Forces boarded HMS Trent clearing all areas of potential threat. They then received specialist boarding and medical training during their time on board.

The Nigerian Forces boarded HMS Trent and cleared the ship of all piracy threat. Shortly after Royal Marines from 42 Commando boarded the Nigerian vessel NNS PROSPERITY and took control on all threat on board as part of the anti-piracy exercise.
