Want to become a Nurse Midwife,
Paramedic, Diagnostic Radiographer or other health science professional but
don’t have the level 3 university entry requirements? Then come to Academy
Online Learning (AOLL) a widely recommended Access to HE online provider.

Don’t have time to attend college?

AOLL offer a fully online Access Diploma which is an
affordable and flexible route to achievement and a qualification that is
recognised and highly respected by universities for its commendable preparation
to study at degree level.

If you are wondering whether an online Access to HE Diploma
is as ‘valid’ as attending a college, the answer is absolutely! The
qualification is exactly the same, the only difference is the delivery and you
don’t have to attend regular classes. There is also the added benefit in how
AOLL students are able to demonstrate at university interviews a commitment and
determination to succeed because they have balanced a busy life with study.

You may have concerns about the level of tutor support with
online courses. However, one thing which makes AOLL stand out from the rest is
the unique mode of interaction between tutors, learners and peers via a state
of the art video conferencing suite. Our
learners themselves offer testament to the high level and quality of support

“tutor support was
excellent” (Midwifery).

“My tutor is
incredible so helpful and patient” (Psychology)

“always a super-quick response!!! You guys are awesome :)”
(Psychology)

The help from my tutor was exceptional. I would recommend
AOLL to anybody needing Access to HE” (Nursing)

I cannot thank AOLL enough for the continuous support… I was
able to achieve the conditions I needed to secure my place at university.
(Midwifery)

The above examples are from the 2016-17 cohort of learners
who, in September, will begin under-graduate degree studies in their chosen
pathway at a variety of UK universities.

The flexibility of this course includes year round enrolment
where applicants choose their own start date. Based on 12 months, study time is
around 350 hours. AOLL recognise that learners may need ‘time out’ for personal
reasons, work commitments/overseas deployment. There is an option to freeze the
course for up to 12 months to ensure no study time is lost.

In terms of your target completion date there are two main
calendar events which centre on the June and November external moderations.
This is when Certa, our Awarding Organisation, come in to check our quality
processes and procedures to ensure that the required high standards have been
met and learners have demonstrated the necessary skills to achieve the grades
leading to the award of the Access to HE Diploma certificate.

AOLL also offer online tuition to support students wishing
to take GCSE Maths, IGCSE English and IGCSE Human Biology (all assessed
externally).
