This award recognises extraordinary individuals who have completed an engineering or technical task in the last two years, and who stand out from the crowd with a defining moment of greatness, making an exceptional contribution to their operational area….

Nominees should also be excellent role models, encouraging others to enter the engineering profession.

The winning technician will receive a trophy, certificate, £1,000 and two years’ free IET membership.

The award is entered on a nomination basis, and this year’s nominations close on 18 May.

Winners are announced at our Achievement Award ceremony, which will be held from 13:00 GMT on Wednesday 14 November at The Brewery, London.
