A recruitment event set to attract thousands of skilled job seekers will be hosted in Glasgow next month
The ‘Opportunities in Oil & Gas’ event will see companies from Aberdeen come together to collectively tackle the industry’s skills shortages.
Employers seeking to attract people with transferable skills will be at the Hilton Hotel on William Street on Wednesday 30th October to meet potential candidates.
A career in Oil & Gas can open up a wealth of interesting and diverse employment opportunities. However, skills shortages have been identified across the board, which has resulted in many positions remaining unfilled and the sector is working hard to ensure that it retains a skilled workforce to meet future requirements.
Whilst the shortage is an issue for the Oil & Gas industry, it is good news for anyone with skills who may be looking to transfer their experience to a new sector. A wide range of opportunities exist, with job roles ranging from engineering, technical and drilling through to commercial and business support.
